# Asset Workbench

A complete local utility for preparing small game audio and inspecting core GLB models. This release uses the actual EoC Studio parsers and validators, with a standalone interface and full source.

## Run

Open index.html in a current desktop browser. bundle.js is included: no account, server, installation, or network access is required. For a hosted preview, serve this directory with any static web server. Choose your own files or use the included calibration examples. Nothing is uploaded.

## Audio

Choose a mono/stereo PCM (8/16/24/32-bit) or standard float WAV. Inspect the waveform and metadata. Set a trim range, 8/16/22.05 kHz output, mono conversion, optional peak normalization and fades. Prepare, listen, then download a validated 16-bit PCM WAV. Inputs are bounded to 10 MB, 120 seconds and 8 million channel samples; exports are at most 300 KB. Extra metadata is deliberately refused. This is not an MP3/OGG decoder or a music mastering tool.

## Models

Choose a self-contained core glTF 2.0 GLB of at most 300 KB. Inspect triangle/mesh/material counts, scene nodes, skins and animation counts. Drag to orbit and scroll to zoom. Choose the model's current forward axis and export a +Z-facing wrapper. Original local transforms, BIN geometry, skins and animation data remain intact. The preview uses Three.js and requires WebGL; structural inspection/export can work when the preview cannot. No mesh simplification, format conversion or compressed extension decoding is supplied. External resources are refused.

The calibration GLB is an original +X arrow for testing orientation. The WAV is an original stereo two-tone notification for checking trim/channel/rate changes. They are examples, not a content collection.

## Source and checks

Use Node.js 24. Run npm ci, npm test, npm run typecheck, and npm run build. The editable UI is src/main.ts, examples are src/samples.ts, and the unchanged parser dependency closure is lib/. Existing EoC parser tests are included under tests/. SOURCE-PROVENANCE.json records the exact source revision and hashes.

## Licensing

Read LICENSE.txt for EoC-owned source and the examples. Three.js retains its MIT license in LICENSES/three.txt. A free download does not change third-party terms or grant rights to EoC trademarks.
